Never Lost
“Finding myself again”; three words that only skim the surface.
It is not like someone can misplace themselves or lose themselves.
Do we ever truly get lost?
In life, as we experience different tides, a part of us awakens — to move, to feel, or carry us across that wave.
At first, we run through the fields, jungles, storms, and rain — carried by our inner child. We run ever so playfully, laughing, weightless and free, exploring the unknown and quenching the thirst for discovery.
Then the tides shift.
Growth. Self-discovery. We no longer run aimlessly — we now run toward something.
As we run, we fall. We grow. Rough surfaces smoothed by time — the aches and pains of falling, but the defiance and the rise of getting back up.
For me, that is when my most vivid memories begin — the attempts, the failures, the disappointments.
But what shines through it all is the victory that came after years of striving.
Through each season, I allowed a part of me to emerge and experience life alongside me.
Looking back now, I marvel at the journey.
The parts of me that quietly and patiently waited along the path — the desires, the wants, the passions, the wild and untamed side of me — were never truly lost. They simply stepped aside, gracefully, to let my purpose at that time take root and flourish.
Now that those seeds have blossomed, I take a step back. I summon my inner child. I gather every version of me that developed along the journey —
and together, we dance into the next unknown.

Love it. Keep writing.
“They simply step aside” so true. The sacrifices we make along the way. In order to get something, we have to give up something.
Beautifully written and deeply meaningful ❣️
